Wolfowitz in trouble at World Bank

Thu Apr 12, 2007 at 08:31:20 PM PDT

Well, well, well! Guess who got caught cheating and lying?  None other than Paul Wolfowitz, president of the World Bank and architect of the amazingly unsuccessful Iraq War and occupation.
The New York Times is reporting that:

The World Bank’s 24-member executive board, the body that elected Mr. Wolfowitz to the job after he was nominated by President Bush in 2005, held hurried meetings throughout the day amid mounting speculation that it might reprimand him or ask him to resign.

It seems that Wolfy, helped to negotiate a tax free raise of $60,000 for his "partner" Shaha Riza, not to mention his mimicking of Geo. W. Bush's Unitary Executive behavior annoying World Bank employees who:

challenged many of his policies at the bank, especially those cracking down on corruption in which he suspended aid to several countries without consulting the board.

Another incompetent, corrupt Bushie gets some sunshine.
